A PhD with full financial support is available in construction engineering and management in our university (City University of Hong Kong). The admitted student will pursue Ph.D. degree in civil engineering with a specialization in construction management. The student is expected to work with Dr. Xiaowei Luo in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Construction Automation, Construction Safety Management, Wireless Sensor Network and Green Buildings.

Minimum Requirements:
Ø B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Ø TOFEL 550 (papers-based) or 213 (computer- based) marks or 79 (internet- based) or IELTS overall band score 6.5;
Ø Good oral/writing skills in English and good communication skill.

Preferred Requirements:
Ø M.S. in engineering or related fields
Ø A good track record of research
Ø Proficient with one of the following programming language: C/C++, C#, or Java.
Ø Experience in at least one of the following fields: wireless sensor network, BIM, computer vision, building energy management, construction safety, or robotics.
